If you’re an employer, you’ll need to make sure you’re paying your staff correctly from 1st April 2016, as the National Living Wage will be enforced as strongly as the current National Minimum Wage – which still applies to those aged under 25

Save the Citizens Advice Bureau in Derby

Derby City Council’s cuts to Voluntary Sector Funding were ‘called in’ – challenged – on 1st March 2016 at a meeting at the Council House. The two hour meeting resulted in a decision that the cuts totalling £747,595 were ‘lawful’.

The decision will have a significant impact on many Derby voluntary and community organisations and will leave Derby without a Citizens Advice Bureau, so Derby is to become the only city in the country not to have a Citizens Advice Bureau – if you would like to sign a petition to try and save Derby’s CAB click here

If you do not know it, it can be easily found – all you need to know in advance is your PAYE reference number, an example of which would be 943/WZ5121A, to be found on any of your correspondence from the Pensions Regulator.
