Financial Management for Voluntary Groups
Margaret Mowles, a fully qualified Chartered Accountant, can train and advise new Treasurers on setting up their manual book-keeping system and give current treasurers hints on simplifying their existing accounts systems.

This session will show you how to prepare a budget or cashflow forecast, and more importantly, how it can be used to control the funds. This is an area of increasing importance of which all groups need an understanding.

Many thanks to all those who attended the ‘Trustees and Charity Law’ course led by Nick Meakin. We cannot emphasise enough the need for Trustees to fully understand their roles and responsibilities.
